^{Poster Competition at the UK - Singapore Materials Workshop}

^{The IoM (East Asia) organized a poster competition in conjunction with the UK-Singapore Materials Workshop. The poster competition attracted 30 posters from Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia and the Philippines. Dr. B. Rickinson, Chief Executive, IoM, and A/Prof. R.V. Ramanujan, NTU were the judges. The quality of most of the posters was very good and the posters were judged on the basis of novelty, significance, content and presentation. The winners will be given the prizes at a separate IoM function to be held at a later date.}

The winners are:

1st prize: Teo Ee Jin, NUS 3-D micromachining of Si using high energy ion beams.

2nd prize: Thet Naing Tun, IMRE, Nanostencils for nanofabrication

3rd prize: Lim Suo Hon, NTU, Nanostructure of Co-doped TiO2 photocatalyst

Congrats to the winners!

The 1st, 2nd and 3rd winners will receive $300, $150 and $100, respectively, certificates and a one year free membership of IoM.
