WELCOME TO INSTITUTE OF MATERIALS (EAST ASIA)

The Institute of Materials (E. Asia) is an affiliate of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (IoM3), UK. IoM (E. Asia) was established in 1986 with its operation based in Singapore reaching out to all East Asian countries and regions, including Brunei, China, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Burma, Philippines, Taiwan and Thailand.

 

IoM (E. Asia) is a professional institution with more than 500 members. Its mission is to promote knowledge of materials science and engineering. It devotes itself to organizing professional activities such as technical seminars, conferences, training courses. The Institute assists and coordinats various research activities, and provides experts' service to the materials industry. IoM (East Asia) has become an important player in Singapore in this respect. In addition, its influence over other East Asian countries is growing year by year.
