Sponsorship of the Institute of Materials (East Asian) Millennium Conference 2000
1. Theme of the Conference:
Advanced Materials For the New Millennium
: Processing, Characterization & Application2. Time and Venue:
The Conference is to be held at the Mandarin Hotel, Singapore,
on 24th March 2000 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
3. Sponsorship Fee:
S$2,000.00 (Please make the cheque payable to "Institute of Materials (East Asia)")
4. Sponsor's Package:
A sponsoring company shall have the following facilities during the one-day conference:
1). A 25 to 30 minutes oral technical presentation at the conference (should not be a sales presentation),
2). A half page advertisement in the final conference programme,
3). A booth area of 6 ft x 6 ft including a display table during the conference (9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.),
4). Free registration including refreshments and one buffet lunch for two participants (inclusive of the speaker).
5. Technical Requirements:
It is desired that the speaker whom the participating company sponsors will be a technical expert in his/her area (i.e., either the technical director/manager of the company or a professor from an established overseas university or research institute).
The sponsoring company is required to provide the name of the speaker and the abstract for the presentation. Though the deadline will be announced later, it is encouraged that the abstract be sent in as soon as possible.
