In recent years, there has been increasing interest in nanotechnology and its potential applications throughout the world. In this presentation, some recent advances in nanomaterials and nanotechnology research will be described. Results on the developments of nanosensors will be presented. The synthesis of nanotubes and related materials will also be discussed.
